Northeast Oregon’s annual summer adult music camp specializing in the mountain (lap-style) dulcimer

Heidi Muller and Bob Webb teach classes and organize events in Wallowa County, Oregon and across the Northwest to promote the joy of playing the Appalachian mountain (lap) dulcimer. Our next Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas will be held June 29-July 5, 2015 and is sponsored by the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance.

It was a beautiful morning driving in to camp. We arrived last weekend in the rain and it kept going day after day, but today we were treated to the view we always love.

Our beginner class meets with Bob Webb all morning in the River Cabin. Tonight some of those beginners and folks who are a little farther along in their journey came to the Turtle Jam with Stephen Seifert. It was pretty amazing, the beautiful sounds in that room. The sun has set on Day Two...

Dulcimer Week 2026 is off to a great start! Volunteers came in to help us get set-up and we had a super welcome jam with Stephen Seifert and special guest, Wendy Songe. This is our largest camp so far with a total of 82, including staff.

We're getting excited about our 14th Annual Dulcimer Week that starts this Sunday! Instructors Jan Hammond, Kara Barnard, and Stephen Seifert will be flying in from Alabama, Indiana, and Tennessee to teach our classes, along with our own Bob Webb. This is our biggest camp yet. If you hear oldtime music wafting along the lake, it might just be us.

It's early spring at Wallowa Lake! Only three months to Dulcimer Week. We still have room for a few lucky beginners. Come breathe the mountain air and join the fun!
