10 a.m.

to 10 p.m. both days! Jonesborough Days is a patriotic festival held every year the weekend closest to the 4th of July. Complete with parade, music, children's areas, historic villages, crafters, food and of course, fireworks. You can call 423-753-1010 or go to www.jonesboroughdays.com for more information. Parking and shuttle available at Joneborough Middle School $5/car. Shuttle drop off & pick up at the Vistors Center during festival hours.

🌙MoonPie Eating Contest at Jonesborough Days 🌙

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with one of Jonesborough Days’ sweetest traditions! Join us for the 8th Annual MoonPie Eating Contest in front of the Washington County Courthouse in Downtown Jonesborough on Friday, July 3rd, at 2 p.m. 🎉

There will be three categories:
🌙 8 and under
🌙 9 to 15 years
🌙 Adult

Contestants will race to see who can finish their MoonPies the fastest, and the winners of each category will receive FREE MoonPies for a year! 🥳

Registration is free and begins at 1:30 p.m. in front of the courthouse, but space is limited.

Celebrate 250 years of America with sweet treats, family fun, and patriotic festivities all weekend long at Jonesborough Days! 🇺🇸

🎶 Get ready for an incredible lineup of entertainment at Jonesborough Days! 🌟

Kick off the celebration on July 3 with Storyteller Tim Lowery taking the Main Stage at 7 p.m., followed by The Appalachian Trail Bluegrass Band at 8 p.m. for an evening of Appalachian favorites.

Then, on July 4, sing along to all your favorite Eagles hits with On The Border – The Ultimate Eagles Tribute as they take the Main Stage for a memorable Independence Day performance. 🎸

Enjoy two nights of outstanding entertainment during the 56th Annual Jonesborough Days as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary! 🇺🇸

We’re so excited to announce our BrightRidge Main Stage music for July 4th from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Jonesborough Days this year!

Get excited for On The Border - the Ultimate Eagles Tribute! 🎸🦅🎶

As the premier Eagles tribute recreating the music, vocals, and feel of one of rock’s greatest bands, ON THE BORDER has dedicated themselves to reproducing the music of The Eagles to a fine art with 5-part harmonies and masterful guitar playing. The band formed in early 2010 and immediately started performing for audiences and packing out venues all over the country. Playing over 100 shows a year and performing for audiences as large as 15k, night after night, the band delivers the Eagles' greatest hits the way they were meant to be heard, LIVE!

Get ready for the Appalachian Trail Bluegrass Band! 🎵🪕🎻

Appalachian Trail Bluegrass Band is an award-winning bluegrass group from Northeast Tennessee, bringing together talented singers, musicians, and songwriters with a passion for storytelling through music. Founded in 1984, the band blends traditional bluegrass roots with original material, tight harmonies, and exceptional musicianship. Appalachian Trail has performed at renowned events and venues across the country, including MerleFest, the Carter Family Fold, Rhythm & Roots, and PBS's Song of the Mountains, earning a reputation as one of the region's premier bluegrass acts.
