A huge THANK YOU to Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) for opening its doors to our Pace artists! Our students had the incredible opportunity to tour the GPB studios, experience a professional broadcasting environment, and use the studio space to tape a special segment for tonight’s CCPS Board of Education Meeting! 🎬

We are also grateful to the CCPS Communications Team, led by Jada Dawkins, for their support in helping make this special opportunity possible for our scholars.

We kicked off Literacy Emphasis Month in a SUPER way with our Kindergarten & 1st Grade Reading Heroes Unleashed Pep Rally!

Our scholars arrived dressed as superheroes, but they quickly discovered that their greatest superpower is READING!

A huge thank you to Dr. Prince T. Bowie (Director of Fine Arts) for an inspiring keynote and Dr. Jessie Goree (Board Member) for sharing encouraging words and a special read-aloud with our scholars.

All September long, we’re challenging our Pace scholars to READ, READ, READ and strengthen their reading superpowers!

Congratulations to our outstanding Pace scholars who were selected by their homeroom teachers for demonstrating COURAGE throughout the month of August!

Whether trying something new, speaking up, persevering through a challenge, or simply having the courage to be uniquely themselves, these scholars have shown us what it means to lead with confidence and character.

WE SET THE TONE FOR GREATNESS! 🔥

Our Opening of School Pep Rally was the perfect mix of expectations, excitement, and PACE PRIDE! We reminded our artists that greatness starts with academic excellence, strong attendance, positive behavior, and making great choices every day.

Our Pace Cheerleaders brought the ENERGY, Royal Rose joined the fun & brought even more excitement to the celebration, and the Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals ROCKED THE HOUSE! 📣

Coach B kept the celebration moving from start to finish!

Special thanks to Lil Bankhead for always showing up and showing love to our Pace Artists!
