Kristina’s talent and dedication were quickly noticed by her coaches. Two short years after she began dancing, she was selected among dozens of advanced dancers to partner a former Bulgarian National Champion. At the age of 15, Kristina became Bulgarian National Champion and Bulgarian Representative in World and European Cups and Championships, as well as in the most prestigious dance event in the

industry – the Blackpool Dance Festival, UK. Upon graduating high school, Kristina was accepted as a fully sponsored student in University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she moved to study Fashion Design. In Buenos Aires, Kristina had the rare opportunity to study Latin Dancing at its source. She took Argentine Tango classes and attended Milongas at historic venues. She also studied Cuban Salsa and Flamenco with distinguished artists in those fields. For her sophomore year, Kristina was accepted as a transfer student in Los Angeles, California. While she continued excelling academically and artistically, majoring in Fashion Design, Kristina began her Professional Competitive Carrier in the International Latin Dance category. Since then, Kristina has won many US National and International Dance Awards, highlighted by such Championships as:

· 1 st place US International Open to the World DanceSport Championship 2005 – Professional Rising Star Latin
· Blackpool Semi finalist – 2006
· 5 Place UK Open 2007

Kristina also performed at world famous stages, such as :

· The Royal Albert Hall
· Cairo Opera House
· Alexandria Opera House
· BBKing’s on Broadway, NYC

Kristina Staykova is recognized and respected as a professional in the Ballroom Dance Industry, both Nationwide and Internationally.
