Happy Heavenly Birthday to Dr. Jeff Meldrum, whose passing on September 9, 2025, deeply shocked and saddened the Bigfoot community. His contributions to the field, his professionalism, and his genuine kindness left a lasting impact on countless people. Dr. Meldrum was a true gentleman — always approachable, thoughtful, and encouraging to those with curious minds and a passion for discovery.

Today, on what would have been his 68th birthday, we celebrate his life, his legacy, and the privilege of having known him. His presence will be greatly missed, but his influence and work will continue to inspire for generations to come.

Rest in Heaven, kind sir.

A Moment of Respect as the Year Closes

Another big thing that hit the Sasquatch community this past year was the loss of a great man

Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum.

As we close out this year, I think it’s important to take a moment and honor him.

Dr. Meldrum stood where very few were willing to stand.
He brought science into a conversation that was often mocked, and he treated both the subject and the witnesses with respect.

When he passed, I wrote a few blogs in his honor, sharing what his work meant to me and why I believe his legacy still matters.
