Thank you to the Thomas Jefferson Hockey Club for having me at their end of season hockey banquet last night.

It is truly a privilege and a honor to be able to hand out some checks to the graduating seniors on behalf of all of your efforts and contributions.

To the graduating seniors, best of luck on your future endeavors and congratulations on a successful season winning the penguins cup. Let me know when you get together to complain about the refs, I've got some stories to tell. Ha

To Mindy Mac, thank you. I wouldn't be in the position I was last night without you. To all of you, thank you for being a part of donating 10k these past two years to TJ graduating seniors. This is all due to you.

Site for donations will be up & running this week. Further details forthcoming on the picnic and we are still planning on having a game in the fall.

It's that time of the year again. The annual The Patrick Kenney Memorial Scholarship and Annual Hockey Tournament will take place at Mowry park this year! Picnic style. If you are interested in donating a basket or item for the silent auction please PM me. Looking like the last weekend in July.

Update for the 2023 Pooch hockey classic. Working with Rostraver Ice Rink and their director, Craig Albert, on finalizing dates.

Thinking a date in August before school starts or 11/22, which is the Wednesday before Turkey day.

Keep everyone posted on the dates. Any preferences please let me know.

Looking forward to eclipsing what we raised last year. Also, working with the accountant, they offered to do the tax filing for free for next year so more proceeds will be available to the graduates.

Any thoughts, feel free to let me know on dates, and keep everyone posted on the official date for The Pooch.

Most people arriving at noon, little kids welcome to skate and craft, silent auction is LOADED, and 50/50 will be pulled after the last skate at 3:15.
Open skates and friends and family games start promptly at one until three. Food available at Bubba burgers overlooking the rink. Please bring your parents as well to support Jim and Ellen and enjoy the event! Tickets can be purchased at the door, cash and checks only!
