The Katherine Clayton Memorial Scholarship was presented last night for the First Time at the Parker High Awards Ceremony!! I was amazed & thrilled by how many Parker Seniors had chosen the medical field as their career path which made choosing our recipient challenging!!
I know we made the perfect choline a young lady going into Nursing, Dani Haas!! I gave a very short speech about why we were giving the scholarship & Katie Clayton! Then I turned & looked at all the Seniors & told them how amazed & proud I was that so many were going into the medical field & told them all to give themselves a round of applause, they did & the audience joined in! :) Then just like at the Oscars lol I said the recipient of the Katherine Clayton Memorial Scholarship is.. ...(then Tom turned to the microphone ) & announced her name!! It all went pretty smooth & felt good!! I didn't choke up or cry, I just felt proud that my son and I could do this in my daughters memory!

So I'm starting to get nervous...tonight Tom & I present the first Katherine Clayton Memorial Scholarship to the the Parker Senior chosen to receive it!! Its at the Parker High Awards Ceremony! I'm not nervous about speaking in front of a group of people, I've given hundreds of public speeches in my life, I just don't want to start choking up or start to cry!! I'm making it short & sweet.,,I know that's unlike me lol, but tonight it will be! Its just this means so very much not only to me, but to all the volunteers who helped us raise money at the Haunted House & other fundraisers! Thank you all so much & all who have donated to make tonight possible!! To have a scholarship in Katie Clayton memory means the world to me & we hope to continue it forever!!!

Haunted House & Rescued Belongings Supporters!! My son, Tom & I want to Thank you for all your support while we have been at 207 N Academy St. Our time at that location has ended but we will be continuing both the Haunted House & Rescued Belongings in support of Katie Clayton Memorial Scholarship fund & Brain Cancer Awareness! As we prepare for the big move, I am asking our supporters for some help! As you can imagine after two years of haunted houses & a growing Rescued Belongings shop, we have accumulated a tremendous amount of supplies, building materials, props & merchandise for my shop! We need help moving!!!
Our scheduled move days are Mon, March 2 & Tues, March 3, TBA, we are still in need of trucks & trailers to haul walls & supplies to our new location outside of Whitewater! We really need an enclosed trailer or trucks with toppers, vans etc to move props & supplies that we can not move on flatbed trailers. If anyone has any of these & can help us out during the day on Mon & Tuesday it would be greatly appreciated!! I also have to move all of Rescued Belongings as well! As I have not found an affordable location in Janesville all of Rescued Belongings will also be going to Whitewater for storage until I locate a shop in town that I can afford! Most of my items will need to be moved in some sort of covered trailers, trucks, large cars, SUV's or vans etc as well! Plus the additional man & womanpower too!! Its going to be alot of trips & some long days with only one trailer, so any additional help moving would be a lifesaver!! We can not afford to reimburse everyone for gas , so I'm asking for this to be a donation of your time & expenses for the day to be toward our cause! As a nonprofit I can even write you a receipt for your expenses for the day as your donation! We will provide Pizza at the end of our work day! We are also excited to announce that the first Katherine Clayton Memorial Scholarship will be given out to a 2015 graduating Senior at Parker High School!!

ISO Building &/or Storage for the 2015 Janesville Community Haunted House! We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization raising funds for Brain Cancer Awareness.
Building inside the Janesville city limits must have operating sprinkler system & up to code electrical. Looking for aprox 5000 sq feet.
Outside the city limits a barn or building would be a nice option would not need sprinkler system, but would need electrical.
Running water & bathroom would be a nice perk but not mandatory. Willing to lease at a reasonable rate, but donations are appreciated & we are a tax write off!
Also looking for Two Semi Trailers for Storage if we are unable to locate a site for our Haunted House by end of Feb! Please contact us with any potential leads or offers!! Thank you!!

The Janesville Community Haunted House is moving from 207 N Academy St. The owner of the building have decided to renovate the building so we have move by the end of February. As we have just found out we do not have a location yet, so if anyone has any suggestions for a location for the Haunted House or storage until we locate a site please let us know! Thank you for your support of the Janesville Community Haunted House!!

The mission of our Haunted House is due to Katie Clayton's fight & loss to a brain tumor, We raise fund for her Memorial Scholarship.

Two years today, my beautiful, amazing, caring daughter with her quirky sense of humor left this earth at home with her family at her side & joined the rest of the angels in heaven! I can't believe its been two years as time seemed to stop for me on that day!
I miss you, Katie Clayton, every second of each day that has passed. I know you wanted my life to go on & be happy, but its been too big of a challenge for me to overcome, I work at it everyday & somedays I find some joy, but that void of losing you in my heart has just been too powerful! I remember the night before you died, you had lost virtually all your ability to speak for months, but that night clear as a bell you said as I kissed you on the head " I love you, honey boo boo"!! We always disliked bad TV reality shows so even in your last hours Katie, you had not lost that sense of humor! I love you too, honey boo boo & I count the days until I see you again in heaven. Until then I am trying my best to live that happy life you wanted for me. Love you Alway Mom!

Admission $8.00 each or the combo ticket for $13.00! 207 N Academy St, Janesville across from the Social Security office, downtown off Centerway behind the Burger King that closed in the 4 story grey brick building on the corner of Laurel & Academy
