Yesterday was a tough one for so many across Lewis County. ❤️

While we were stuck in our driveway watching the flood waters rise, we were incredibly thankful that Sunny Pointe Corn Maze made it through with only a few injuries — some fences and gates were taken out, but thankfully the corn patch is going to be just fine and should still be ready for planting in the coming weeks. 🌽

Please keep all of our local farmers in your prayers right now. This is normally the season when hay is being put up, and many fields are now covered in mud, driftwood, and debris. Farming and agriculture are truly at the mercy of Mother Nature. One storm can change months of hard work overnight.

We also want to encourage everyone to continue supporting local farms and agricultural businesses. So much happens behind the scenes to create the places and events families enjoy each year. From growing the corn and pumpkins to raising livestock and preparing fields, we depend heavily on the weather cooperating every step of the way.

It can be stressful leaving so much of your success in Mother Nature’s hands… but seeing your smiling faces show up to support local farms, small businesses, and community events makes every long day worth it. ❤️

Despite Mother Nature doing her best to slow us down 🌧️, Jared has been steadily chipping away at this little beauty—framing in counters, doors & windows, adding TWO fridges + a microwave, and even starting on the decorative ceiling tile ✨Less than 2 weeks until opening day at the Triple Crown Benefit BashTriple on June 6th! The Sunny Saloon is all tucked away for the night and bracing herself for 3 more days of rain. ☔️😩

At this point, Mother Nature has officially become our least favorite project manager because she’s really putting a kink in getting her ready for her big debut at the Triple Crown Benefit Bash on June 6th. But one way or another… this saloon is opening. 🍻🔥
