Thank You, No Business 100 Community!
As the dust settles on another unforgettable No Business 100, we’re once again reminded what truly makes this event so special: the people.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who made this year’s race possible: our volunteers, runners, crew, sponsors, support and emergency organizations, land management partners, and their dedicated trail and maintenance teams.
This year brought its share of uncertainty, and for a time we weren’t sure if the race would even happen because of the government shutdown. Through it all, the outpouring of kind words, encouragement, and prayers from this community lifted our spirits and reminded us how strong the No Business family truly is.
To our volunteers: You are the heart and soul of this race. From course markers and sweepers to aid station crews, kitchen staff, supply runners, and course monitors, your selfless dedication and long hours out there in the dark and cold are what make the No Business 100 possible. All weekend long, as runners crossed the finish line, what we heard again and again was how incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming you were, and that the hospitality at No Business was off the charts. You gave runners the encouragement, comfort, and care they’ll never forget.
To our runners: We couldn’t be more proud of you. The No Business 100 is not an easy course. It demands everything you’ve got and then some. Finishing it is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to your grit, determination, and heart. Watching you push through the highs and lows out on these wild and beautiful trails is what inspires us to keep doing this year after year.
To our crew members: Your love and support carried your runners through the toughest miles. You are as much a part of their finish as they are. Thank you for getting all 4 wheels off the road. ;)
To our sponsors and partners: Your belief in this event and your generosity help us provide an experience that reaches far beyond race weekend.
To our communications and emergency services teams: The Oneida Ham Radio Club, local emergency responders, and Dr. Jeff Golden, thank you for your professionalism, care, and commitment to runner safety.
To our land management partners: We are deeply grateful to the Big South Fork NNRA, Daniel Boone National Forest, Pickett State Park, Pickett State Forest, Scott State Forest, and their teams for your continued support and stewardship of this incredible landscape we’re privileged to run through.
Yes, the course is stunning, but there are a lot of beautiful places in this world. What makes the No Business 100 stand apart are the people who make runners feel welcome, cared for, and part of something bigger. That sense of community is what runners remember most, and it’s why they’ll keep coming back.
From all of us, thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your heart to make this year’s No Business 100 one we’ll never forget.
As we look ahead to next year, we’re especially excited to celebrate a major milestone: the 10th Anniversary of the No Business 100. We can’t wait to honor a decade of unforgettable miles, friendships, and stories shared on these trails. Here’s to the journey ahead. We hope to see you back out there in 2026!
With sincerest gratitude,
Brian & Shelley Gajus
