Far from a meat-market college camp environment, these camps are challenging, focused and full of energy and excitement. Psychology is used to reinforce the confidence of participants. Axiology is used to help the players understand why they see the field the way that they do. There is a great deal of structure in the camp but there are also times for the kids to recover and rebuild for the next s
ession. Just two years into the program, the team won the NLC conference championship with an undefeated in-season record (7-0) while outscoring its opposition by 90 goals. JU led the nation in scoring with a 16.22 goals per game average with a style patterned off of Loyola Marymount's hoops teams in the 1980's and 90's. The team dominated all NCAA categories finishing in the top-10 or top-20 in every stat. This was accomplished with almost all freshman and sophomores, with just three transfer students. JU finished the school year with a 3.4 team grade point average, one of the highest in the country. They led the NLC in academic all conference picks with five, and first team all-league picks with three. Overall they have an amazing group of talented, well rounded women who compete and work as a family. JU returns their entire team and adds eight new talented freshmen signees for the 2011-12 season. The team is on a mission to improve its record from the very successful 2010-11 campaign. Want to know how it all works and be a part of the success? Come to camp! It's an amazing program and a fantastic camp!
