Parsley for the swallowtail butterflies, splitting my “Queen of the Night” and propagating some additional ones, tons of mammoth sunflowers popping up and an endless sea of Snake plants to split and repot. Plants anyone??

We are getting over a dozen eggs a day if anyone wants fresh eggs. Our dozen includes 2 duck eggs (large and creamier and everyone loves to bake with these), 2 Silkie eggs (we call them “fairy eggs” because they are smaller and just so cute) and 8 mixed color eggs with white, brown, rose, blue and beige. Please look up how to hard boil them because when fresh the shell doesn’t peel easily but they are perfect for any other way to cook them! All our chickens are free range, spoiled and loved. We charge $5 for straight chicken eggs and $6 for mixed. CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, credit card and good ole cash works

So we bought a farm. Water was spouting up where we linked a spigot. Not good tomorrow because I am going to become a plumber and use the purple glue to fix the pvc lines. (I seriously sound like I know what I’m doing!!) We shall see. We shall see. Mr Donald thinks I can fix it.

We had our first duckling hatch out last night! Just in time for the Fairy Shop to open! It’s a good sign

Mystic Art (Formerly Pink Flamingo Arts)

My adventure with Art, particularly Clay, continues. I am where I am most comfortable and satisfied. You will find me at local Art and Farmer’s Markets, at Holiday events, school festivals, across the states at Fairy and Garden events and on line. I started with of my design of Butterfly Puddlers and after adding Fairy Doors, the woodsy world of the Fae was too fun to resist. Now you can discover all sorts of Fairy, Mermaid and Magical whimsy in my booth. Learn how to interact with Elementals, learn how to cleanse your area of negative energy, how to invite magic into your life and how to live a blessed and wonderful life.

Pink Flamingo Arts was popular for mobile art projects, but it became too expensive for schools simply because of the involvement with glazing/firing/delivery of the pottery pieces. I also wasn’t able to work with individual children to inspire and enable them to grow creatively. I was not satisfied and frustrated. I began to take time to get back to playing with clay and following my heart and spirit. The transition was a slow process but I am content with where I am and continuing to grow. Thank you to the gift shops that I can provide with a bit of whimsy and to the children that find my booth with wide eyes and a new relationship with our Mother Earth.

Along the way, Monarch Butterflies found their way into my life. What started as a casual hobby came into demand and during summer months at my booth, you will find a couple of milkweed plants loaded with Caterpillars and some Chrysalis ready to go to a new home. The ability to share the incredible experience of raising these winged beauties is very rewarding. Each family that takes in a Monarch is helping raise the population and gets a very up front and close view of Nature’s inexplicable process of transition. I am very proud to have inspired many new Butterfly Gardens and Monarch Way Stations. Through each sale, each new guardian becomes part of the increasing milkweed availability as well as increasing the over all populations. If you can’t find me in the studio, look around back where my bazillion milkweed plants reside. I am usually prowling for tiny caterpillars and bringing them behind screens, away from ravenous Anole and other lizards, ants and the dreaded wasp that can decimate an entire population of caterpillars in one afternoon. If I am not there, try the front where I release eclosed new Monarchs and park them on my stucco so they can fly off at their leisure.
