Our very own Susanne Sanders- Women’s Committee Chair for Onslow County. We are so thankful for her!

Meet Susanne Sanders of Onslow County!

She married into agriculture – hog farm and beef production. She worked as a registered Dental Hygienist for 40 years and is currently opening a Bow-tique.

In addition to her work on the farm, Susanne is an active leader in her community—serving as chair of her county Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee and as chair of her church women’s circle at Pineland Church.

What inspires or motivates you in your community or professional life?
Being a light to others, sharing and glorifying the Lord is my motivation.

We are proud to highlight Susanne as part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer and celebrate her dedication to agriculture and leadership across North Carolina!

Today is . It’s a national day of celebration. But for farmers and ranchers, every day is Earth Day.

They care for the land and resources. They care for their crops and livestock. They care for their families, too. All 365 days a year.

And being a farmer and rancher means shaking hands with Mother Nature. Because the sun, soil and water are their business partners.

Today, they’ll tip their caps in salute to the good earth and keep growing the food that sustains us all. Because for farmers and ranchers, every day is Earth Day.
