COME TO RUIN makes their Jacksonville debut June 27th at Resurgence Goth Night — Jacksonville’s largest live music goth gathering. 🦇⚰️

We are beyond excited to finally bring these New Orleans deathrockers to Jacksonville and give our crowd an experience that fits the Resurgence mission perfectly — rooted in classic goth, while also celebrating the future of dark music instead of simply living in the past.

Mournful deathrock straight from the void, COME TO RUIN channels the spirit of early Bauhaus, Christian Death, Mephisto Walz, Xmal Deutschland, and Samhain into something immersive, atmospheric, and deeply alive. Smoke, incense, dead roses, candles, haunting bass lines, cryptic lyrics, and cavernous guitars create the feeling of stepping into another world entirely.

Resurgence has always been about honoring the foundations of goth while keeping the scene alive, evolving, and energized through new bands, new sounds, and new experiences for the community. COME TO RUIN embodies that spirit perfectly, and we know you’ll all love their show.

DJ Kill Bill will be spinning before and after the live performance, keeping the dance floor alive deep into the night. Mike and The Big Scary create the immersive visuals that give Resurgence its signature atmosphere, themed differently each month. Plus, announcements from JoHanna Moresco about upcoming concerts, gatherings, and future events for the Jacksonville goth community so you know what’s happening next. 🖤

Let’s not act like we aren’t used to Florida being Florida. Honestly, think of the photo opportunities though!

No matter what, we’re going to have a great time. If needed, we do have a backup plan and can move the gathering to Kickbacks. We’ll play it by ear and make the call day-of depending on what the weather actually does.

At the end of the day, no matter how well anyone plans, nobody can control the weather. But we can at least commit to having fun together. Thank you all so much, and we can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow! 🖤

JoHanna Moresco presents: Resurgence Goth Night
Jacksonville’s largest live music monthly goth gathering returns every fourth Saturday. This month features a live performance from Grizz CLL and Vick Vapors!

GRIZZ CLL

Grizz CLL is a darkwave and goth artist from Los Angeles known for blending melancholic storytelling with cold synths, post-punk textures, and a distinct mid-80s influence.
Emerging from the underground scene through early SoundCloud demos, Grizz CLL has built a growing cult following with dark, atmospheric releases and intense live performances, including records like “Frightening, but Blissful” and “Club Flesh.”

VICK VAPORS

Vick Vapors is a darkwave and post-punk artist from California’s Inland Empire, blending goth, industrial, EBM, and synth-driven sounds into moody dancefloor records. Known for atmospheric production and emotionally charged performances, Vick Vapors has become a rising name in the underground goth scene through collaborations, touring, and releases like “Espera” and “Puedes Amarme.”
