Good evening everyone,

Unfortunately, its time to make the call; The CDC has recommended against gatherings of over 50 people or more, so we cannot in good conscience continue on with Beach Bowl as planned. We are just as disappointed as you are but we're not going to give up on it entirely, so keep an eye on this page later in the year for possible dates.

For those of you who have purchased tickets already; we will begin refunding all ticket and clinic sales tomorrow and should have it done fairly quickly; keep an eye on your emails.

thank you for all of your support, and I look forward to seeing you all at Beach Bowl, whenever it may be. :)

Hello Beach Bowl-ers! As you can imagine, we are closely monitoring the situation and have several contingencies, however, we are still in a holding pattern as things unfold.

Neither the State of Florida nor Duval county has issued any kind of advisory as of yet. The CDC is recommending the Cancellation of large gatherings over 250 or more. As of right now we have approximately 75 paid entries, well below that threshold. Additionally the event will be held outside, where social distancing can be achieved. Given these current considerations, we are still prepared to hold our event unless the situation changes significantly. We’re in regular contact with our coaches, and will update the minute anything changes on our end.

If you are immunocompromised or suspect you have been exposed to an area or people who are testing positive, you probably don’t want to attend. If you don’t want to participate given the current climate, we totally understand – there are no restrictions or penalties if you want to cancel your orders.

We will always proceed with the health and safety of each of us in mind, so stay tuned, follow our page, and we will be diligent in posting and emailing any updates and changes.

I’m about to fall, now what?
It’s not a matter of IF you will fall while ramp or street skating, but a matter of WHEN. There are tools and body positions for how to bail or fall to give yourself the best chance of avoiding injury. We’ll go over the make up of skatepark features and how to use them during a fall to soften an impact. We’ll learn what body positions to avoid when falling, and how use knees, arms, toe stops and your body to minimize impact.
