Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual golf outing has been cancelled. In lieu of an in-person outing, the Gilchrist Scholarship committee has opted for a virtual event to be held on August 19th at 7pm. This year, several generous donors have pledged their support to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $3,250. If we hit that goal, we will be able to award the first two scholarships at the virtual event!

Please see the flyer in this post for more information. The annual golf outing will resume June 12, 2021 at Bent Tree Golf Club.

Reminder that the 2020 outing is scheduled for June 13th at Bent Tree Golf Club so start spreading the word! Registration and additional event inforamtion will be available in early November.

Thank you to everyone who came out today and supported the outing! The weather was fantastic and some great golf by friends and family of Michael and Brian. In conjunction with Walsh University, the Alumni and friends, and the family of Michael and Brian Gilchrist are proud to sponsor the 2nd Annual Gilchrist Brothers Golf Tournament. Michael and Brian are graduates of St. Charles Prep School (1982 and 1983) are alumni of Walsh University (1986 and 1987). They were both active in sports,
golf, track, baseball, football, tennis, best remembered for their performance on the basketball court. Sadly we lost both brothers too soon.

To honor their memory, a scholarship has been created to help future Walsh students.
