Not the best photos But you arent here for photos!
First things First. PRAY FOR DRY WEATHER!! We can not move forward without about 10 days of dry weather. That is our biggest holdup at this point. There is a bunch of dirt work to be done for drainage, widening, and prep before asphalt goes down. 1-2 Days of dirt work, then a day to asphalt. Then, a day or 2 for the track fence to go in. While the track cures, the road going to the track will be repaired and......
The bridge will be repaired and water issues addressed!
This is huge news. HUGE!
WE HAVE ALREADY taken the tires to the track, where we intend to use them as impact barriers. They are just waiting for asphalt.
X### In the meantime, we need the track mowed!!! This will actually help dry up the dirt. We are asking for help on this, please. Also, we would like to schedule a clean-up day sooner rather than later!! TASK HANDLED BY Joe Boyd Bart Morrison
I will repost the items we need to help make the return of racing much more enjoyable for everyone. I will repost in this thread!
Thank you all for your support, this is happening, folks!
We thank representatives from Adcamp Asphalt, Imperial Contracting, and, of course, the City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department. All attended the special meeting. All are ready to tackle this project and look forward to phase 2.
