Estamos ansiosos de verlos, esperamos que se dejen venir toda la comunidad de Jackson pero más que nada la comunidad hispana. ✨ Esto ✨ es para ustedes, nosotros… Va ser un día y noche lleno de alegría y diversión. ¡Los esperamos! ☺️

✨ Manifesting for the future. ✨ Picture this… A vibrant small-town community all together under the sunset; eating, laughing and just enjoying the music and company of each other. You can still smell food in the air, hear the children's laughter and contemplate if your belly allows for just ONE more item. Do it. We won't tell if you have one more tamale or taco. 😉

To our community, supporters, and partners in Jackson and the surrounding areas,

After much reflection and dialogue, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Jackson Hispanic Heritage Festival 2025.

This decision did not come lightly, and the current political climate has created an environment that challenges the safety, unity, and celebratory spirit this festival is meant to foster. Our event has always aimed to uplift and honor the richness of Hispanic/Latino culture, providing a welcoming space for families, artists, small businesses, and allies to come together. Unfortunately, we feel that proceeding this year may compromise the integrity and security of our goal. We recognize the disappointment this may bring to our vendors, performers, volunteers, and the broader community who look forward to this celebration each year.

This pause hurts. However, we are reflecting, re-grouping, and re-imagining how we can continue to serve and uplift our community in meaningful ways, safely and proudly. We remain committed to advocacy, cultural celebration, and the power of voice in numbers. In the coming months, we will explore new opportunities to connect, educate, and support our community through this division. We are grateful for your continued support and understanding. Together with our allies, we will continue to be resilient, advocate, and celebrate our diversity in the best way we can.

A nuestra querida comunidad;

Después de mucha reflexión y diálogo, es de gran pesar el anuncio de la cancelación del Festival Hispano de Jackson 2025.

Esta decisión no se ha tomado a la ligera, el clima político ha creado un ambiente que desafía la seguridad, la unidad y el espíritu de celebración que este festival busca fomentar año tras año. Nuestro evento siempre ha tenido como objetivo elevar y honrar la riqueza de la cultura latina americana, brindando un espacio agradable para aliados, artistas, familias, y pequeños negocios que se unen con nosotros. Lamentablemente, sentimos que continuar este año podría comprometer la integridad y seguridad de nuestra meta, reconocemos la decepción que esto puede causar a nuestros artistas, vendedores, voluntarios y a la comunidad en general que espera con entusiasmo esta celebración. Les pedimos comprensión de esta pausa como un paso proactivo para reflexionar, reorganizarnos y re-imaginar cómo podemos seguir sirviendo y elevando a nuestra comunidad de maneras significativas—de forma segura y con orgullo.

Seguimos comprometidos con la defensa de los derechos, la celebración cultural y el poder de la voz colectiva. En los próximos meses, estaremos explorando nuevas oportunidades para conectarnos, educar y apoyar a la comunidad.

Únete a Nuestra Comunidad y JSO en la fiesta previa a partir de las 6pm donde tendremos aperitivos, bebidas y la oportunidad de aprender los fundamentos del baile de salsa con la instrucción de Lesly Sauceda, Christy Gorczycia, Angie Dickenson y su equipo.
🔸Entrada gratuita a la fiesta previa. Plazas limitadas. Se requiere reserva sólo para la pre-fiesta.🔸
