Mark your calendars! Sunday, December 3 will be the annual Christmas in the Village. This year it will be held at the school. Visit with Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, tons of crafts for the kids, reindeer food, and much more! More details to come.

We hope you all enjoyed JC Christmas in the Village! It was such a pretty evening to enjoy the horse and wagon ride. Thanks to all who volunteered their time to help out with crafts, games, letters to deployed military members, and letters to Santa. A special thanks to community businesses and the JC Growth Association that make this event possible with their donations. The JC Fire Dept so graciously allows us to use their space, and is such a big help with set up and tear down. We couldn't do it without your help! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Join the Community this evening as we celebrate Christmas in the Village. It all starts at 4:30 for the Soup Dinner at JCUMC. At 5:30 Santa will arrive on his sleigh. There will be a live Nativity, children's crafts, cookies and hot cocoa, and pictures with Santa at the JC Firehouse. Don't forget the horse drawn wagon rides that will run until 8pm. Hope to see you all there!

Hope to see you all tomorrow evening at Christmas in the Village beginning at 5:30 to watch the tree lighting and see Santa arrive on his sleigh! Don't forget the FREE soup dinner at JC Methodist Church from 5-7 pm. Bring your family for a picture with Santa (bring your own camera), crafts for the kids, live nativity, face painting, hot chocolate, and horse drawn wagon rides! There will be a bake sale and 50/50 drawing with all proceeds to benefit the We Care Fund.

Thanks for coming out to Christmas in the Village! We couldn't have asked for better weather! Special thanks to the JC Memorial Library, JCFD, Plastipak, American Club, Jr American Club, and Grace Lutheran Church and their youth for the Live Nativity and cookie decorating. We couldn't make this special event possible without all of their help!

Christmas in the Village is co-sponsored by the Village of Jackson Center and the Jackson Center Growth Association.

Soup Supper at the JC United Methodist Church from 5-7 p.m. hosted by Emanuel, St. Mark's Lutheran, St. Jacob's Lutheran, and JC United Methodist churches. Donations will be accepted for JC Fish Pond Food Pantry.

Mark your calendars! This year's Christmas in the Village will be held next Sunday, Dec 2 from 5:30pm-8pm. All festivities will be held at the JC Firehouse. Activities include: Santa arriving on his sleigh to the tree lighting at 5:30, pictures with Santa (please bring your own camera), and a live nativity provided by Grace Lutheran Church. Horse drawn wagon rides will also be available!

Also planned is a 'fish pond' by the JC Library, face painting, reindeer food provided by Plastipak, an activity table provided by the youth of Grace Lutheran Church, and refreshments donated by the American and Jr American Clubs.

Please bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Fish Pond Food Pantry.

Bring your family for a fun filled evening!
