One of Our rescue Muscovy ducks moved into the chicken coop and started nesting. We knew we had to protect them, so we relocated the chickens and removed the ramp to help keep predators out and give her a safe place to settle in.

And y’all… she did it!! Her babies are here 🐥

We are so proud of her and so excited to watch these little ones grow.

Fun fact: Muscovy ducks are incredible mothers. They are known for being very attentive and protective, often raising large clutches of ducklings and keeping them close at all times. Unlike most ducks, they don’t quack much. Instead, they make soft cooing and hissing sounds, which makes them extra unique.

There is just something so special about getting to witness moments like this out here. It is a reminder of how beautiful and intentional nature really is 🤍

One of our recent & favorite little regenerative moments on the ranch 🐑🌾🕊️

Our sheep naturally shed their wool, and instead of letting it go to waste, we collect it and tuck it into these little wire cages to hang on our trees.

Now the birds can easily grab soft, clean, natural fiber to build their nests for spring 🪺🤍

No synthetic fluff
No waste
Just full circle farming

The sheep grow it.
They shed it.
We gather it.
The birds use it.
And nature keeps doing what it was designed to do.
