Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival

The Weather is beautiful! Parade marchers – which is open to everyone, kids and adults alike – will step off at the Corner of Walnut and Main Street, Ivoryton Village. The Parade is led by Allegra Farms Horse and Wagon, and our marchers follow behind. Please no bicycles or motor-powered vehicles. Strollers, wagons, and very well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Parking is at a Premium, so plan accordingly, as all marchers need to meet at 4:15. I have attached a suggested parking and parade route map.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. If you have friends or family who are not pre-registered no worries - again, all are welcome regardless. So EVERYONE, get your costumes ready to wear and come enjoy a great, fun family event.
I have also attached a list of events for the evening as well. Also if you missed the Pumpkin Carving Party – we have about 8 gutted but not carved pumpkins left at the Ivoryton Village Green come on down a carve a couple before the event.

Today is the Day for the 25th anniversary of the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival . 10.25.25 We still NEED VOLUNTEERS to carve pumpkins at Bushy Hill Nature Center starting at 10am. We have about 85 pumpkins left to carve. and we can't do it alone. Families, Friends, everyone! Please join us and support us. The schedule of Events is below. Our park and recreation team looks forward to the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival every year, but this year deserves special recognition as the 25th Anniversary of this signature event. Our department, with the support of our commission, sponsors The Painted Smile face painting, House of the Triple MoonTarot Card readers, music by We are The Federation, and our wagon rides with Allegra Farm. Not to mention free snacks along Summit Street while supplies last. Free family fun for Everyone! Help us kick off this great event by marching in our Costume Parade. The parade steps off at 4:30 from the corner of Walnut and Main.

returns this year to the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival
to serve up this delicious drink. Be sure to add some mini marshmallows to your cup!

this Saturday during the Ivoryton Village Parade & Pumpkin Festival ! We are so excited to welcome them to Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival

Lot’s of spooky things are happening this Saturday at the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival. The Hosting Company will be serving two “Witch’s Brews” for purchase - one for adults and one for kids! We’ll have pumpkin styling, a custom HCo Halloween coloring book, and a very SWEET tablescape! The patio next door will also be bubbling with tarot from .of.the.triple.moon, yard games, and slices. Pumpkin carving drop off 10-12 on the Village Green, Costume Parade starts at 4:30, and the hauntingly festive activities are from 5-7! Consider this your summons - we’d love to see you there!

Happy Monday - Right off the heels of a very successful Pumpkin Chase, The Ivoryton Library will host the not-so-scary haunted library for the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival
Our lovely little local library is big on community support, and we appreciate all that they do! The Haunted Happenings begin Oct. 25 at 5p until 7p

For 25 years, Essex, CT Lions Club has been serving up hot dogs at the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival It’s a long-standing tradition, so be sure to grab yourself a Festival Frank and thank a volunteer!

10.16 With just 9 days to go until the Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival , we want to be sure to highlight the Ivoryton VIllage Alliance Trunk or Treat, new last year but quickly became a highlight of the festival. Each “Trunk” will be lined along Summit and Main Street. The festival is Saturday, Oct. 25, kicking off with our Ivoryton Village Parade & Pumpkin Festival Costume Parade at 4:30.
