We're so close to kicking off the 56th Annual Salmon Days festival! The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Information Center is proud to produce Salmon Days each year, to celebrate the return of the salmon to Issaquah Creek and showcase our wonderful community.

The Festival Committee is made up of dedicated volunteers who contribute countless hours and plenty of hard work to ensure Salmon Days is a great experience for our guests. They meet all year long and their planning is crucial for putting on the best 2-day festival in the state. If you see any of these folks while you visit us this year, make sure to give them a shout out or thumbs up to recognize their efforts!

Celebrating Our Home Stream Heroes: City of Issaquah-Public Works

*It Takes a Village to Have a Village*
Salmon Days wouldn’t be possible without the incredible behind-the-scenes support from our local heroes at the City of Issaquah’s Public Works Department. From keeping our streets smooth and pothole-free, to opening and energizing power panels, providing sandbags, sweeping streets before and after the Festival, and even filling the always-popular Dock Dogs tank with water—Public Works does it all. They ensure our water and sewage systems run smoothly and help make the Festival safer, more comfortable, and beautiful for everyone who attends.

As we celebrate National Public Works Week, please join us in giving a big thank you to the dedicated individuals who maintain our community’s infrastructure and make our City shine.

We see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do it without you!
