The Applique Getaway is an exciting weekend of classes, product demonstrations, vendors, prizes, friendship, FUN and more for all skill levels of machine embroidery enthusiasts, vinyl crafters, and entrepreneurs. The Getaway offers all the benefits of a trade show experience in a casual, friendly, FUN atmosphere!

This is not the post that I ever wanted to make, but I need to make it.

Due to low vendor attendance, AG2026 has been cancelled. Please know that this decision was not taken lightly, and it completely breaks my heart to cancel the event.

Please know --- this is NOT the end of AG. We are picking back up, regrouping, and already looking at plans for AG2027. While we hope to stay in Texas, this is not definite. We are looking at various venues in Texas as well as the Midwest. We WILL BE BACK!! 💙

For now, we are planning Virtual Getaway, September 12 - December 31. We will host the Getaway on a separate, private platform (I learned from 2024 Virtual Getaway mistakes 🥰), with lots of new projects and live demos!

Please know that we love each and every one of you, and we hope to "see" you at the Virtual Getaway, AND next summer at AG2027!!

If you have ever been to Applique Getaway before, you know how much there is to buy!! If you travel by plane, or even by car, sometimes you have to "hold back" on those show deals because you have limited space. Well ... we are excited to announce that we will have a SHPPING STATION at AG2026!! It will be located next to our registration desk, where there will be boxes of various sizes for you to purchase (at the lowest price possible), packing tape, a laptop, as well as label printer. We will use Pirate Ship, and will have a pickup scheduled for Monday morning (I will be there until Monday evening).

If you have never used Pirate Ship, Carly will be there to help! Once your goodies are packed and a label is printed, the box will go into my locked office until Monday morning, when I will put them all on carts, ready to be picked up!

I wish this existed when I flew from Alaska to the Fort Worth show years ago! I would have definitely shipped a box or two, or maybe three!🤣

Just another addition to AG2026!! We hope to see you in July! Registration is scheduled to open on Saturday, March 28.

AG2026 Lapel Pins have been ordered and are being made as we speak!! If you got our AG2025 lapel pin last year, we are continuing this new tradition of a new pin each year, highlighting the yearly theme. These are gonna look great on your lanyards! I can't wait to see this traditiongrow each year!

These will be available at the SWAG counter during AG2026, while supplies last! We hope to see you in Irving, TX July 9-12, 2026!!

Registration and hotel room block will open in March! 🩷

💲Back by popular demand --- AG BUCKS!!💲

We introduced our AG BUCKS at AG2025, and both attendees and vendors loved them! You receive them as part of your registration package and some will be given as prizes. You spend them just like cash, without spending YOUR cash!!

AG BUCKS are at the printer as we speak -- we can't wait to give some to you!!

Y'all! We have been "iced" in for almost a week! I'm going crazy! I am so excited for this AG2026 -- FUN IN THE SUN!!!

Quick question -- are you coming? If you are, are you coming solo or with a group? I just love seeing folks gather together at AG, forming new friendships, while also strengthening those that already exist.

Can't wait to see you all! AND... whoever sent the ice to Arkansas -- you can have it back now!!🤣😂

❄️🥶Good morning and Happy Saturday!❄️🥶

With the winter weather rolling into Arkansas (and every other state from New Mexico to Maine), we hope everyone stays safe and warm.

As for me, I’m going to spend my time today sitting in front of the fireplace drinking ☕️ and working on transferring orders to customer accounts on the SNS website as well as updating our AG website. The power continues to flicker on and off, so no embroidery work for me today.

Mark Your Calendars!!

AG 2026 is returning to Irving, Texas, July 9-12, 2026!!!

‼PLEASE NOTE‼ -- We had tentatively scheduled the event for July 16-19, but with the FIFA Soccer tournament events, we could not get the room rates at a competitive price, and have the event space for Thursday classes. Backing it up one week accomplished all of this!

Registration will open at a later date, and we will begin posting vendors and classes SOON!

MANY of you have been part of this family from the very beginning, through new owner transitions, our Alaska, Wisconsin and Arkansas family moves, and so much more! I am so excited to celebrate my FIRST year as owner of Applique Getaway with our very own AG2025 Souvenir Lapel Pin! This will be an ongoing tradition, having them available at each event moving forward. But ... this year, they are due to arrive July 30, so if you would like to get yours, complete the order form below. Pins are $5.95 each, with a flat-rate shipping fee of $4.50.
