Our Dothan members got a lesson in genomics and AI technology at the fabulous new Wiregrass Innovation Center. Huge thank you to Barb Malchow for our tour around the beautiful facility. And to Pandian & Priyanka founders of See Produce for sharing the inspiring work they are doing with AI from peanut grading to produce sustainability. What does it take to build the future of water science? ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ—๏ธ

A 350-foot tow tank. A 250-foot tilting flume. Specialized laboratories. And a facility designed to help scientists and engineers better understand one of our nationโ€™s most important resources: water.

The Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a one-of-a-kind center for water science and technology. Built by joint-venture team Brasfield & Gorrieand Jordan Construction Company in partnership with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) (USGS), the 95,000-square-foot facility houses, tests and calibrates hydrologic equipment used to monitor water resources nationwide.

The project earned a 2026 The Baldwin Group Build America Award, and now we're putting the spotlight on the next generation of standout construction projects.
What has your team built that deserves to be recognized?

๐Ÿ† Applications for the 2027 Build America Awards are OPEN through October 31.

Youโ€™ve built it. Now claim it! Check out the link in the comments below.

Remembering the Past. Preparing for the Future.

As we approach 9/11, RiskCON 2026 gives us an opportunity to remember those we lost and honor the heroes who responded.

Weโ€™re honored to have Dennis Healy, NYPD Emergency Service Unit and World Trade Center responder, share his firsthand experience and the lessons that still matter today.

The past teaches us. Preparedness protects us. And working safely today helps us be ready for tomorrow.
