And to Pandian & Priyanka founders of See Produce for sharing the inspiring work they are doing with AI from peanut grading to produce sustainability. Big things are happening here which will have a tremendous impact far beyond Dothan.

What does it take to build the future of water science? 💧🏗️

A 350-foot tow tank. A 250-foot tilting flume. Specialized laboratories. And a facility designed to help scientists and engineers better understand one of our nation’s most important resources: water.

The Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a one-of-a-kind center for water science and technology. Built by joint-venture team Brasfield & Gorrieand Jordan Construction Company in partnership with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) (USGS), the 95,000-square-foot facility houses, tests and calibrates hydrologic equipment used to monitor water resources nationwide.

The project earned a 2026 The Baldwin Group Build America Award, and now we're putting the spotlight on the next generation of standout construction projects.
