IT IS RACE WEEK! Registration is still open until midnight Wednesday if you still want to join us. 2021 routes are posted on our website and will look very familiar to anyone who rode in 2019. All finishers will receive a free meal and refreshments at the finish line thanks to Tacos Don Diego and Big Grove Brewery. A huge thanks to all the volunteers and community support that make an event like this possible. See you Saturday!

Do you remember those awesome burritos from 2019? has agreed to come out of retirement and feed all our hungry racers again this year. He will be at the finish line from noon until course close. It is with great sadness that I announce that ICG 2020 is officially canceled due to concerns over COVID-19. While it is certainly possible to hold an event during this time, I feel it would be too risky and the concessions necessary to hold the race safely would diminish the spirit of this event. I do not make this decision lightly and I am humbled that our sponsors, volunteers and racers all said they would support whatever decision I made. I want to thank all of you for making ICG what it is and I hope we will all see each other soon.

We highly recommend that our racers check out Snaggy Ridge 105. They are another great grass roots race in eastern Iowa. They are working diligently to put on a safe and fun event that supports their local community.

ICGravel wishes to congratulate Jill Martindale for her first place finish at Iditarod Trail Invitational. This may seem like a random shout out from a little gravel race in Iowa, but Jill was instrumental in bringing Velocity USA on board as a sponsor.
