Due to last year’s race director leaving our company, and the struggles we had finding volunteers for the race, we do not have the capability to host this race this year.
We are hoping to bring the race back in the future, so stay tuned 💛🖤

What a fun (and chilly!) Thanksgiving morning! 🦃

While we are still awaiting the final race numbers for our additional donations, we know for sure that we had $433 donated directly from you to the Food Bank! We also had a great turnout for the food drive and were able to donate what was leftover of the post race party food & drinks to the Food Bank as well! 📦

While the weather and COVID threw some wrenches into the race, it was such a great way to start Thanksgiving and we hope you had as much fun as we did! 🧡

We will be back at it next year with even more fun! The race will be your favorite family tradition, with tons of awesome upgrades from this year!

Just 2 weeks away from Iowa City's first ever Turkey Trot! Join us for the Hawkeye Turkey Trot on November 25th. We can't to see you there and start the thanksgiving festivities off with a a scenic 5K loop and lots of goodies at the finish line. Don't forget to bring some non-perishable food items to donate to the food drive for the Iowa City Food Bank!
