The Wizard of Oz Festival-Ionia, has received approval to returns to downtown Ionia! The film that started it all, will be shown at the historic Ionia Theatre and priced the same as it was years ago, at only 25 cents per ticket! A variety of Oz related contests, Author's Alley, and much more, are being planned for guests. If all goes accordingly; vendors will be on hand with a great assortment of
arts and crafts, shabby chic treasures, antiques, various other gifts. Information regarding this fun filled family festival, sponsorship opportunities, vendor applications, 'Author's Alley' special guests, and general questions, will all be made available once plans are given a green light. Please refrain from contacting the DDA office/Director Linda Curtis, until a post is made on this page commenting that more information will be available and/or provided. The festival committee is currently, and urgently, seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks for this event. Without volunteers, the festival is contingent upon happening at all.
