Liberty is a lofty ideal. From the very beginning of our country, this powerful principle was woven into the fabric of our nation. Declaring our Independence from England, our country’s founders wrote that we are endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights; Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Constitution lays out a system of government whereby we can secure “the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” And as Americans, we pledge allegiance to one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and justice for all. So today, in gratitude and in honor of my two sons, my father, brother, sister-in-law, stepfather, two nephews, and to all the men and women who have served and are serving in the military; who defend our country and help to preserve the principle and ideal of Liberty, especially to those who have sacrificed their lives in its pursuit...I SAY THANK YOU! 🇺🇸
