We wrapped up our summer session of the Master of Music in Choral Conducting program yesterday with a beautiful concert of renaissance music. Our students have been hard at work this summer improving their conducting, studying diction, and immersing themselves in choral music. Now we get a little break before we start choral methods and choral literature online in the fall.

Stay tuned for some concert footage, and check out https://simpson.edu/mmcc

Thanks to Jessica Thomas for the great photos!

Our revival of the master’s program in choral conducting started this past Saturday with 5 students and 10 guest singers, and it’s going great!

We have three concerts this year:
- Friday, 6/19, 7:30 pm, Lekberg Recital Hall in Amy Robertson Music Center (faculty conducting)
- Sunday, 6/21, 3 pm, Smith Chapel (students conducting classical/romantic repertoire)
- Wednesday, 7/1, 1 pm, Smith (students conducting renaissance repertoire)

We hope to see you there!
