I would like to thank the SCTA for hosting an event where garage and home builders can compete on the world stage. Where the only limits are the imagination and safty.

I would like to thank Team Brine Shrimp for an awesome journey. My brother Randy, desiner, builder and driver. James Bratby, chief engineer and aerodinamist from the UK now in Detroit. Sell, (I can't spell his name) from US now in UK engineer for GP2 team. Kevin Sharp, engineer for Aerobus. Now living off the grid in Scotland. What an amazing group of talent for one of the slowest vehicles on the salt. But that's not what its all about is it. I helped my brother with his dream in 2014 only to be rained out. Figured it would be one and done. Came back in 2016 and 2017. The salt is now in my blood. I hope we will return. Oh, my job is cook.

Team Brine shrimp would like to thank the SCTA for all their help in our attempt to make our first pass on the salt. With continuing work we hope for better results in the future. I would like to personally thank Sell, Kevin and my brother Jim for all they bring to the adventure. Most importantly I must thank our crew chief, James Bratby for his selfless contributions and his friendship. I hope to work with him and all the team for many years to come.
