What started as a Tribute to "BET's Rip The Runway"; Roc Da Mic Fashion Show became one of the most talked about fashion shows in the city. It provided a platform for models of all shapes and sizes, ethnicities and backgrounds. It offered a space where local designers, clothing brands, boutiques and fashion stylists could showcase their talents and skills. A place where independent artists could perform their music live on stage. A connection between fashion and music. Like peanut butter and jelly, like Batman and Robin; there’s fashion and music…
Spring of April 2011 CGK3 Productions launched its' very first fashion show production. Roc Da Mic Fashion Show was held in the downtown area of Indianapolis, Indiana located at the Conrad Hotel - Vienna Ballroom on Sunday April 17, 2011. With over 60+ models, hairstylists, makeup artists and assistants. Along with the many designers, clothing brands and boutiques the show was full in production. The attendance surpassed the capacity: SOLD OUT FULL TO CAPACITY! 417 out of the 415 seating capacity. Guests were willing to stand just to be in attendance. With a sold out first show, Roc Da Mic Fashion Show was well on its' way to a household name and brand. Production by:
