Raven diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s

Wrestling legend Raven (Scott Levy) has revealed he’s been diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease, a condition he attributes directly to his lifestyle and wrestling career.

In a raw, deeply personal interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Raven opened up about his health, his regrets, and his new documentary: Nevermore.

“I got early-onset Parkinson’s… if you see me tremor, that’s why.”
“It gets worse when I’m anxious or tired.”

He didn’t sugarcoat the cause:

“Of course it’s from wrestling.
You gotta pay the piper.
All the d***s, alcohol, and chair shots…
You pay for the damage at some point.”

Over the last 3 years:

- Both knees replaced (2022)
- Shoulder replaced (2023)
- Spinal stenosis flare-up (2024)

🛌 And every night?
A sleep disorder that mixes narcolepsy and apnea.

“I wake up 10-15 times a night… I’m as exhausted waking up as when I went to bed.”

Despite it all, Raven speaks with a sense of clarity only earned through fire:

“I got tons of regrets.
But I’m happy with who I am now.
I’d rather be happy at the end of my life than earlier and miserable at the end.”

He even jokes about mortality like only Raven could:

“I was on the deadpool list for years.
No, I don’t want to live forever.
Old age ain’t for pu***es.”

But Raven is at peace.

“80 sounds about right”, he said about how long he’d like to live.
