Our family would like to thank each and every one of you for helping us get through this last week. A day we knew would eventually get here, but a day you can never prepare for. The heartache, the tears, the sadness. Something we’ll have to fight with each day the longer she’s gone, but with hope that each day will get a little easier. We are glad she is no longer in pain, but surely going to miss the hell out of her.
We want to thank the cooks for the delicious meals that were provided, Stella Ragan for the beautiful ribbon shirts! Thank you Bonnie Boyd for the amazing slideshow, Roger Finley and Shawn Christianson for the tedious things on our to-do list, the community members that set up and cleaned up the gym, Gib Seymour and crew for the dried deer meat, Steve Dick and Mike Flett for artwork on the casket, Brad Michel for the teepee poles, Dayna Seymour for the decorations, Natural Resources and Jason Lelone for the transportation home. Colville Tribal IT department for the funeral cards, the Bluff family for the handmade rosary. A big thank you to Tony Louie for the beautiful music during her services, “one last concert for Gram” as we would say. Thank you to Kathy D and the rest of her crew for helping with the rosary, Deb Wolfe for the wonderful eulogy, and everyone else that made her services such a beautiful one. One she truly deserved! She loved you all!
“Your legacy lives on in each and every one of us. We strive to carry your values and qualities forward, to be as kind and strong as you were. Your love continues to bind our family together, even though you're not physically here. we share stories, we laugh, and we find comfort in knowing that your spirit lives on within.”
You may now rest Grandma Joann, your job here is done. 💚💛
