Good morning everyone, today is the day everything is getting kicked off for the 2nd Annual Shorty Williams Memorial/Fallen hero’s race. Today we start with Test and tune from 5:00 to 10:00 pm! Tomorrow is index racing and 6ft trophy racing then Saturday will be a big money race! Will records fall this weekend I got a feeling they will as Jeff has been getting the track primed up this week. Good evening everyone and now we are less than 24 hours away from the kick off of the 2nd annual Shorty Williams Memorial/Fallen Hero’s race! Test and tune will kick off at 5:00 pm tomorrow evening and run till 11:00 pm and then we will be racing Friday and Saturday we hope you all can join us for a special weekend of racing!!

Alright guys another quick announcement we have now got an extra $400 added to the Kids ET money class for the Saturday portion of the event! That’s right an extra $400 one kid is going to walk away a happy camper! We hope to see everyone this weekend! Alright everyone big announcement to make this weekend for all kids racers this weekend! Terry Dean Jones has asked to switch his sponsorship from the Quick 8 Open Outlaw to the Kids ET money class! Now there will be an extra $200 added to the Kids ET money class this Saturday Night! Get those kids ready as this will be one of the biggest payouts they have competed for at Hollands Dirt Drags! The final countdown has started!

We are now just 4 days away from the biggest race of the season at Hollands Dirt Drags, Hollands Off Road Event Venue, and Leslie County RV Park LLC — the 2nd Annual Shorty Williams Memorial/Fallen Heroes Race!

As a reminder, here are the times and details for this coming weekend:

🏁 Thursday, June 4th – Test & Tune
• $25 per bike (Adults)
• $10 per bike (Kids 13 & Under)
• 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• $6 Gate Fee

🏁 Friday, June 5th
• Gates Open: 1:00 PM
• Practice: 5:00 PM
• Racing: 6:30 PM

Classes:
• Index Racing
• 0-421 Banshee Shootout
• Kids ET Trophy Race
• 6-Foot ET Trophy Race for Adults

🏁 Saturday, June 6th
• Gates Open: 8:00 AM
• Registration: 10:00 AM
• Practice: 12:00 PM
• Quick 8 Qualifying: 2:30 PM
• Racing Begins: 3:30 PM

These are the planned start times for the weekend, and we encourage all racers to do their best to arrive on time and help keep the program running smoothly.

Camping is available at the track all weekend. Anyone needing an RV site with electric and water hookups should contact Jeff and reserve their spot through the Leslie County RV Park website.

Racers, remember the reason we are having this event. This weekend is dedicated to honoring the fallen heroes who made a tremendous impact on the sport of ATV drag racing in Kentucky and across the nation. Their legacy continues to live on through events like this and through all of us who share the passion for this sport.

I will be doing a live video tomorrow night to go over additional event details and answer any questions.

Get those final tunes dialed in, get those machines ready, and let’s put on a great show this weekend! We look forward to seeing everyone for an unforgettable weekend of dirt drag racing action.

Good morning everyone! Tomorrow we will officially be just one week away from the biggest Dirt Drag race of the season for Hollands Dirt Drags and Hollands Off Road Event Venue!

I’ve got some good news this morning as we’ve had a few sponsors step up and add extra money on top of the purse for several classes during the Saturday portion of the Shorty Williams Memorial! Below are the classes and added amounts:

Saturday Added Money:

• Quick 8 Open Outlaw – Extra $100 added thanks to NKY Roofing

• No Bar Open – Extra $100 added thanks to Down on the Holler Detailing

• Outlaw 3.0 Index – Extra $100 added thanks to Preston Spurlock

Good afternoon everyone, and I hope everyone is having a great Saturday afternoon!

Unfortunately, with this week being a complete washout and having to cancel our Memorial Day Special, our next event will now be our biggest race of the season — the 2nd Annual Shorty Williams Memorial/Fallen Hero’s Race!

This race will be a special one for many people. Halfway through the racing program on Saturday night, we have plans to honor some of Kentucky Dirt Drag Racing’s fallen heroes:

We hope you can join us for what should be an exciting weekend of racing as we honor these fallen heroes.

Alrighty guys I just got off the phone with Jeff right then and we have made the decision to cancel the Memorial Day Classic tomorrow May 23rd 2026 the shut down area is in really bad shape and we just can’t get it dried up! Our next race will be the Shorty Williams Memorial June 4th, 5th, and 6th! We will be posting more finalized details soon! We hope you can join us on the first weekend in June!
