🔥 IT’S RACE WEEK 🔥

We are going LIVE on Instagram Tuesday night at 8:00 PM to talk through everything you need to know before race day. We’ll cover key race details, final reminders, course conditions, and answer questions from runners across all distances.

This is especially helpful if you can’t make the in-person pre-race meeting on Thursday evening.

The first Warbird training run was a blast! Nothing like bringing in the New Year sharing some miles in the hills of east Kentucky with great people followed up with a great meal.

Thank you to everyone who came out today and spent some of your weekend with the Trailsick crew! Let’s plan on doing it again sometime in February before all you crazies start your taper.

Training run update

We are on for January 3rd at 10am. The location is at the Sugar Creek Trailhead in Leslie county. Google maps location is below.

The course will be a 13ish mile loop and Trevor will be marking the course tomorrow. I’ll also add a GPX file later today or tomorrow if you want to load it to your watch. Here’s a link to CalTopo also if you’d like to save it on your phone.

A couple of quick hitters for those who are coming.
- There will be a couple of creek crossings so plan for wet feet.
- Food will be provided after the run. We’re planning to have burgers, hot dogs, tater salad, chips, and drinks.
- There is a bathroom house at the parking area.
- We’ll have one truck staged at the halfway point with water but nutrition will be limited so please plan accordingly.

That’s all I’ve got for now. Sounds like we may have as many as 20 folks coming so it should be a fun day in the hills of Leslie County! Let us know if you have any questions and we’ll be happy to answer them. See you on Saturday!
