Sometimes projects just don’t go the way you hope (at first)…I could have given in to defeat when I tried to make a pair of 4th of July shoes with some napkins and mod podge on a cute pair of Navy Dupe Dudes! I made my pattern, mod podged it on, and was excited to return later when it dried only to find out the image was no longer visible due to the dark color of the shoes. So I pivoted…painted a layer of primer white over the napkins and then tried a second attempt at cutting and mod podging the napkins on. And the second attempt proved a success! What a cute pair of shoes I get to wear for the 250th celebration of America! 🇺🇸

Join us Sat June 13th at 10am for the debut of “Paws and Petals” on a 16″ x 20″ framed canvas…register online at https://thepaintfactorymn.com/events/paws-and-petals/?datetime=2626…We will walk you step by step through painting your chosen pet silhouette (you choose one of the three shown here…and we will pre-sketch your chosen pet silhouette on the canvas for you…we can even customize the dog/animal silhouette for you to your breed for an additional charge…just reach out to us!). Then we will help you add all the florals on top. Best part is you can change up the colors however you like and paint the frame any color you like. This is a truly unique and gorgeous project you won’t want to miss!

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY! We are so excited to bring back another hat and purse burning class at The Paint Factory in June! Join us Friday June 12th at 6:30pm and Choose from 3 different hat styles OR a purse. Spots are limited so register now at https://thepaintfactorymn.com/events/diy-hat-and-purse-burning-no-free-class-cards/?datetime=2628…Cost of the evening includes your chosen hat style (Mesh Trucker, Fedora, or Cowboy) or purse, supplies to wood burn your design, and the choice of adding your own bling at the end with accessories for your hat! Tara will demonstrate how to wood burn your own hat/purse and then you have until 8:30pm to complete your project. Various Stencils will be available for you to trace (including floral, word, cow, and other designs for you to choose from…but feel free to bring your own stencil as well…3″ -4″ stencils will work best for the hat and 5-7″ stencils for the purse). Upon completion, upgrade your hat design by adding accessories for an additional charge. Or feel free to bring your own items you would like to add to your hat or purse!
