Last night, before Shelley and I headed home, I stopped for a minute and snapped this picture. After a long day of cleaning, decorating, and getting everything ready, it was one of those moments that reminds me why we both love what we do🤍

Today, the flowers go out, the draping goes up, the benches are set, and another Smith Acres love story begins.

It’s amazing how quickly a quiet field between the barn and farmhouse transforms into the place where two people say, “I do.”

Wedding day is today…and we can’t wait to share this beautiful day ❤️

A big shoutout to the people behind the scenes making everything picture perfect before all the fun begins for this weekend’s wedding at Smith Acres. From mowing and w**d eating to landscaping, decorating the barn to match each bride’s vision, setup and final touches — it takes a whole lot of teamwork to bring wedding weekends to life, and we’re so thankful for it all.

Wedding week is upon us at Smith Acres. 🤍

While Shelley is at the barn giving tours, we’re putting the finishing touches on everything for next weekend’s wedding so Shelley can start her magic in decorating tables and the barn. The lighting is officially complete, and I may be a little biased… but I’m completely obsessed with our new chandelier over the sweetheart table. ✨

Every week brings us a little closer to the vision we’ve had for this place, and seeing it all come together never gets old. 🤍
