Thank you for this amazing article published on our OPENING DAY! 🎉🎥🎞️
The article starts:

“As a Steven Spielberg project films in the area, the Made in Huntington Film & TV Festival is officially launching, with the awards ceremony streaming April 7 on NewsdayTV through a new deal with the festival, Variety can exclusively reveal.

Starting Thursday and running through April 6, the festival is hosting 14 public screenings, with a total of 35 titles chosen from 100 submissions. For festival executive producer and Huntington’s director of film and television Joe Schramm, the festival is a unique opportunity to highlight production opportunities in Long Island.

“Huntington is a unique place because a lot of television and film executives, producers, directors and screenwriters live here,” Schramm tells Variety. “I’m a little surprised — there are a lot of people who, like myself, work for the same companies over the years and, now that they’re semi-retiring, they’re becoming filmmakers at age 55 or 60 for the first time.”

About The Bogmen

The Bogmen are an indie rock band from Huntington, Long Island, New York. The band was formed in 1993 by Billy Campion, Bill Ryan, Brendan Ryan, Mark Wike, P.J. O'Connor and Clive Tucker.

The legend of the Bogmen has endured, with streaming algorithms continuing to serve up Yellar alongside new releases, and Gen-Xers blasting Bogmen classics for their kids on the way to after school activities. That strange magic started to reach new generations; and with each fleeting glimpse of this bacchanalian cryptid of a band, new devotion has germinated, and fans new and old have wanted more.

Now, some twenty six years after their last full length album release, The Bogmen are proud to offer a first taste of their forthcoming long-awaiting new album 'In My Kingdom,' with the release of the title track as the first single. The song, as with the rest of the record, was recorded at The Carriage House in Stamford CT by engineer Phil Palazzolo, and produced by Billy Campion & Brendan Ryan. Recorded over a period from 2021 to 2023.

“The pandemic was a strange time again, different, but dark and tragic just the same. The world seemed to be falling apart and people were becoming divided and confused. There was a reversion back to our primordial instincts of survival, a return to nature and a reflection on religion and spirituality. This is reflected in the music of this record.” - Billy Ryan

Thank goodness for us all - The Bogmen have returned!
