Chilifest (Huntington, WV) ChiliFest is a charity cook-off event benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities at the Tri-State. All chili sample tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

ChiliFest is the West Virginia State Chili Championship sanctioned by the International Chili Society and sponsored by Chili Willi's and WSAZ. The winner of this "much heated" event qualifies to represent West Virginia at the ICS World's Chili Championship. Cooks come from far and wide to downtown Huntington, with their pots, spices, secret ingredients and chili lore for this spirited competition.

What a great day for ChiliFest 2025, the West Virginia State Chili Championship. 🌶️ This year’s event was the most successful of any year for our charity, the Ronald McDonald House of Huntington. Raising $97,760.00 with chili sample sales $33,180 and the Victory Toyota RAV4 Raffle $64,580. ❤️

With International Chili Society cooks coming from a 6 state area, we were packed with great cooks competing to win in Traditional Red Chili, Chili Verde and Homestyle Chili. We also had a youth chili cook win in the Youth Homestyle Chili division.

Many thanks to our sponsors who contributed to make this year’s ChiliFest a great success. They include Health Network, The Cabell County Commission , the West Virginia Lottery, OVP Health, Burke & Herbert Bank, Foodfair Supermarkets, WSAZ NewsChannel 3 and Victory Toyota Barboursville .
