We welcome you, your family, and the family dog, to come to our annual WV Hot Dog Festival to enjoy contests and competitions, live music and entertainment all day, displays, prizes, demonstrations, crafts, shopping, car and truck shows, and to sample all of these wonderfully delicious hot dogs in one location for the entire day at Pullman Square, and 3rd Avenue, downtown Huntington. ourself (and your little dog too!) to our annual WV Hot Dog Festival (always the last Saturday in July)! All proceeds benefit the kids in treatment at Hoops Family Children's Hospital, at Cabell Huntington. Get your best tennies and come walk or run!

2021 Information

2021 West Virginia Hot Dog Festival will be held Saturday, July 31, at Pullman Square and 3rd Avenue in downtown Huntington. The 16th anniversary festival will showcase the region's top hot dog businesses. The West Virginia Hot Dog Festival will offer hot dogs from a dozen of the top hot dog businesses traditional to this area and state. The WVHDF will have a classic & custom car * truck show, kids amusements, demonstrations and exhibitions, retail and craft shopping, and the annual "Buns on Bikes" family bicycle tour of Huntington. Don't forget about the ever-popular WV Hot Dog Festival Wiener Dog Races and $100 Dachshund Dash Championship race at high noon. Families love the "all-breed" exhibition races at 11:40am the dog costume contest (any breed), hot dog eating and root beer chugging contests, "bun fun" games, and much more!

Enter your favorite wiener dog in the high noon Dachshund Dash at the WV Hotdog Festival. Upon registration there will be a $10 donation necessary to enter. This money will be going straight to the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital to help the children! We look forward to seeing you and your precious pup at the races!
