After 8 wonderful years of parties, fundraisers, workshops, friendships being formed, connections being made and tons of hugs and laughter, it is with tremendous sadness that I am announcing the closing of The Girl Cave. Like so many others, I just could not sustain the financial loss from being closed for 4 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many of you have seen my posts on Facebook marketplace selling off items, and while much has been sold, I still have tons more to clear out. Time is running out before I have to vacate the venue and I am going to be holding a big sale on Saturday, July 25th from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Please come by for great deals on party decorations, home goods, office supplies and much, much more! Or just come by to say goodbye (WARNING: I will be crying intermittently throughout the day)!
On a personal note, I can't even begin to tell you how much this business has meant to me, as it fulfilled my vision of creating a space for people to come together, find a reprieve from their troubles and feel loved and appreciated. The friendships I have made, the knowledge I have gained and the charities I have been able to get involved with have made every minute of this roller coaster ride worth it. I will forever be grateful to all of my Cave Dwellers đź’•
