This past weekend’s groom is from Elkhart. So were most of his groomsmen. So were a lot of his guests.

I used to be their nurse - back before any of this, back when I was giving half of them their childhood immunizations. And this weekend I stood in a venue that I renovated with my own hands & watched them all grown up, dressed up, celebrating one of their own getting married.

If you’d told me twenty years ago that this is where I’d end up, I don’t think I would’ve believed you.

The space was dressed beautifully for it - white draping behind the head table, pink & white flowers adorning the table over pink runners, candles everywhere (LED, of course), and a draped entrance unlike anything that’s been done here before.

Full circle doesn’t begin to cover it. Just grateful I got to be part of this chapter too. 🥰
