The big night is almost here! If you’re planning to visit Third Street this Halloween, here’s everything you need to know to make it a fun and safe evening for everyone:

🕯️ Where is “Halloween on Third Street”?
Our historic Third Street neighborhood in downtown Hudson comes alive every Halloween with dozens of homes transformed into spooky, creative, and family-friendly displays. You’ll find us just a few blocks from the river and the heart of downtown.

🚗 Street Closures & Parking
🚫 Third Street will be closed to through traffic starting at 5:00 PM by order of the Hudson Police Department to keep trick-or-treaters safe.
✅ Visitors should use Fourth Street and park in the Bethel Church parking lot or nearby side streets. Please avoid driving across Third after 5:00 — it will be filled with families and kids.

🏠 When does the fun begin?
Most homes will be lit up and ready by 5:00 PM and will continue welcoming visitors well into the evening. The earlier hours are great for younger kids, while the later hours bring out the full haunted glow!

👻 Trick-or-Treating Tips
• Respect houses with lights off — those homes are not participating.
• Bring flashlights or glow sticks and dress in layers — it can get chilly near the river!
• Dispose of wrappers and trash responsibly to help keep our neighborhood clean.
• Be patient — foot traffic gets heavy, but it’s all part of the fun!
