The Burner

The Burner The Burner is an extremely challenging, Obstacle Mud Run that takes place in Hubbard, Ohio. Returnin Stay tuned as we ramp up to our events in summer and fall.

This Fall, Hubbard, Oh will play host to the ultimate obstacle adventure challenge. We’ll be taking over the grounds of Big Game Raceway to destroy miles of mud, water and man made obstacles in our quest for the ultimate challenge. Keep up with us here as we put the finishing touches on our site and build our challenges. Follow us on Twitter for updates. Oh yeah, and maybe start working out. This

will be rough. But we know you like it. We've created a vigorous obstacle challenge of x miles and y trials on a race to personal victory. There will be mud, there will be walls, there will be pitfalls, there will be other metaphors that we will overcome. We want an event that provides challenge not because of a mile number, but for everything you go through in between mile one and mile done. We want a race to leave us battered, worn and dirty. Maybe we're just weird like that, but we think that you like to get a little weird too. All the best events happen behind a good cause. As much as this challenge is about overcoming physical obstacles, we do it for the benefit of those who face much harder battles. Some of us don't get the luxury of just climbing over some sticks and stones to claim victory. For The Burner, we're partnering with Akron Children's Hospital. Completing this challenge shows us an incredible strength of will and shows us the value of support in the face of our toughest challenges. We want to extend this support to the many families who face harder obstacles than us on a daily basis. Stay tuned for updates as we build up to the The Burner Obstacle Challenge this Fall in Hubbard, Oh.

Hello everyone, we'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, and assisted us with The Burner for the past few years. Unfortunately due to outside factors and Afterburner FX transitioning into a new building, we will not be able to put on the event again this year and instead are selling the event and all the assets that go along with it. If anyone is interested or knows someone who may be interested please contact the shop at (330) 534-7653. We were very happy to have fun with the hundreds of participants over the years and to provide the support we were able to for Akron Children's Hospital.
