It was an exciting and productive morning at Hoxie High School as students took part in the 4th Annual Ag Career Fair! Throughout the event, students explored booths hosted by a variety of businesses and colleges, learning about career paths, degree programs, and valuable employability skills needed for their futures.

A sincere thank you to all of the businesses and colleges that dedicated their time and energy to investing in our students’ futures. We truly appreciate your support!

Since the basketball games are postponed we are also postponing our 50/50 raffle! We will continue to sell the tickets Thursday during the basketball games and will draw half time of the boys game! We are already doing really well with this fundraiser! The pay out is currently at $1,000 and we will continue to sell tickets!

This Wednesday we had five kids traveling to Philipsburg to compete in the Speech LDE. Kellen Cressler competed in extemporaneous speech and Jordan Dardis, Madison Meier, Taegan Lindenman, and Lily bird competed in prepared public speaking! Kellen placed 5th!

This week we had five FFA members participate in the FFA Discussion Meet! We had one member place top 10 and two who placed top 16! Good job to these members for putting in the work to represent the Hoxie FFA Chapter!

National Western Stock Show!

24 kids sold 40 items for our fundraiser this year and were given the opportunity to attend the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado! 11 of those kids went! We had a fun weekend packed with a pro rodeo, go carting, shopping, top golf, and so much more!

This past Wednesday the chapter and greenhand officers traveled to Hays to compete in the leadership school contest. They competed in ritual (opening and closing ceremonies) and took the leadership test!

This year we have decided to open up a FFA clothing store! There is hoodies, crewnecks, long sleeve shirts, and t-shirts. The store will close December 17th so make sure to order soon!
