Hey guys I'm sure if you drive by our house on a regular you are wondering why there is not an excessive amount of Christmas decor out. Unfortunately this family has had way too much bad luck for the year. We will have some lights on but we are not having the house controlled by the computer. So please still drive by and see the display!
Our bad luck list-
1. Garage smashed by a tree in June
2. In Aug, Mackenzie (our 18 year old daughter) diagnosed with Stage III Hodgkins Lymphoma. She has finished #6 out of the suggested 12 chemo treatments
3. In September, Laura (myself/the mom) diagnosed with cervical cancer and currently having biopsies and surgery to manage that. Will need to be off work without pay for surgery
4. November...Josh (my husband) was in the hospital for 10 days with what started out as puking blood. He hasn't been able to work for 3 weeks. He is having alot of GI and blood issues so still trying to figure out all of that
So yeah its been an insane year for us and we apologize, I promise there will still be a very nice display, so please drive by and honk to let us know you love the lights! I'm going to start working on lights today actually! Well that's it, please don't hesitate to ask questions. We also are having a Cancer Fundraiser next Fri. There are options for tickets or donations under the ticket button if you are willing to help. Also we are still collecting silent auction items if you would like to donate an item for that.
