42 nights of lights complete for the 2023 season. Everything has been taken down in preparation for the expected upcoming snowfall.
Although I didn’t go all out with this years display I hope what we did do brought some joy to the season. In 2024 I am hoping to go all out like years past. Stay tuned…. Only 11 months until we do it again!!

A Huge THANK YOU to the employees of Lowe’s of Altoona who collected these donations over the last several weeks. All of this as well as a $200 cash donation from the employees will be delivered to the Central Pa Humane Society tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow is also our annual Give Back day . From 10am-2pm it’s Howl-iday pictures with Santa and his Friends at the CPHS. Additional Donations will be accepted . For a $10 donation you can have your furry friends picture taken with Santa as well. Hoping to have an Awesome event tomorrow.

Wish list of items needed for the Central Pa Humane Society. We will be collecting on 12/16 from 10-2 at the Humane Society .

The correct time for our Event on 12/16 is 10am-2pm. We were having issues with it posting the correct time slot when we created the event on Facebook. Hopefully it has been corrected on the event tab

2023 Give Back Day
Saturday, December 16th. 10am-2pm
Central PA Humane Society

We will be collecting much needed supplies and donations for the shelter.

Santa will be on hand as well.

We haven’t posted in a while but things have been hectic lately. The 2023 Shaw Griswold Christmas Display has been created. This year we chose to go with a more laid back , traditional approach . No inflatables or a walk thru this year. Lights and lighted displays are the feature. Once again my hectic schedule and some health issues were a reason to scale back this years show.

Stay tuned for information on our Give back collection where we will be collecting donations for a local non profit . Some things are in the works details will be posted soon.
