Bánh Mì Cookoff

Bánh Mì Cookoff Bánh Mì CookOff Fundraiser is a day of celebration, commemorating Vietnamese-American culture. Proceeds aid BPSOS-Houston, a nonprofit, community organization.

The CookOff brings together a variety of local chefs to showcase their take on the banh mi. Boat People SOS – Houston (BPSOS-Houston) is the only direct service organization in Greater Houston and the Upper East Texas coast that targets the Vietnamese and the Asian Community with holistic services, including social services (domestic violence, senior services, health, workforce development, and legal services), youth program, community building, Citizenship/ESL/Computer classes, and advocacy. From assisting refugees and torture survivors to disaster recovery assistance following Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ike, BPSOS-Houston has risen to the occasion each time to provide necessary services to the most affected communities.
