Fans of hockey, they so happened to be at a past Hockey Day In Houston and wanted to spread their love of hockey by inviting hockey fans to their brewery!

Megaton will also help us drop the puck on the 2026-2027 NHL season by taking part in our opening week celebration of hockey! Stay tuned!

The Hockey Day In Houston Inaugural Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, November 6th at Pearland Golf Club!

If you are a hockey fan or a golfer, here is why the event was established:

For the past 2 years The Howe Foundation has made a financial contribution to hockey in Houston. These funds were used to help provide for scholarships and new opportunities for hockey organizations in Houston. We never thought we would have had the distinguished honor to receive such a contribution.

For 2027, although the match has been passed on to another city, we will continue work with The Howe Foundation as the Houston Hockey Slapshot Scholarship will continue to honor The Howe Foundation mission while showcasing the legacy of Gordie and Colleen Howe.

Events like the Hockey Day In Houston Inaugural Golf Tournament help raise additional funds to further make an impact to hockey and ice sports in Houston as the events are all part of an international non-profit of Hockey Players in Business - HPIB. To date, Hockey Day in Houston has given back over $110,000 to scholarships, hockey and ice sports related organizations.

High School ice hockey returns to Houston this weekend! Check out the week 1 ISHL Houston hockey schedule!

ISHL Varsity games start this weekend with first three games played on September 11th.

On this day, we remember the innocent lives lost in the terrorist attacks against the United States. We honor the extraordinary bravery of the first responders and everyday citizens who selflessly ran toward danger putting lives of others above their own.
September 11, 25 years later, We Remember!

Our Varsity season starts with 8 games played this weekend on three rinks.
Come on out and cheer for our returning and new teams! We cannot wait to see our families and fans filling up the rinks and celebrating the beginning of the season 2026-2027!

On the eve of the debut game of the Houston Bulls, our newest committee member for Hockey Day In Houston 2027, we wish them the best of luck in their upcoming season!

We are also pleased to announce that through our partnership with the Bulls, we will be doing ticket giveaways for each home game at the new Deep South Ice and Sports Complex during the Bulls inaugural season. Keep following us for updates and opportunities including the home opening weekend!
