WELCOME TO HOUSTON ‼️ Please join us TONIGHT 6:30 PM at Lincoln Bar to kick off the Conference with your fellow speakers, attendees, and Houstonians.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to FANHS, the organization we all hold near and dear to our hearts.

Is there food?
There will be lechon, pancit, and lumpia, first come first served. Note: Minors must be accompanied by an adult, and should arrive before 8:00 PM.

WIN RAFFLE PRIZES!
This event will also feature exciting raffle drawings with fabulous prizes for filling out a Session Survey for each one you attend.

The more Surveys you complete, the more chances you have to win! [winner must be present]. One submission per person per session/event ~ so attend as many sessions, events and excursions!)

FANHS-HTX Conference Entertainment Committee presents HISTORYaoke: Filipino American Family Stories + Karaoke on Saturday, July 20 from 12:30-2 p.m. at United Way Greater Houston. Amazing features by Emily P. Lawsin, ATEh UBEh, Dr. Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales, Dr. Kevin Nadal, and many more!

We are looking for other participants to recite a poem or spoken word piece followed by a karaoke song. Come celebrate Filipino American National Historical Society HTX’s 9th Anniversary! 🥳 Join us for the Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser at Drop Shots on April 20, 2024 from 10am-3pm. FREE food will be provided by FANHS-HTX while supplies last! Additional food and beverages may be purchased on site.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
-Format of play: Round robin pool play with winners advancing. USAPA rules will be followed. Players will call their own games and scores, unless disagreements cannot be resolved. Clarifications and decisions rest with the tournament director.
-Tournament is for players rated 3.5 and below, and will be played as doubles (both regular doubles and co-ed). Depending on the number of teams registered, we may be able to have beginner and intermediate brackets.
-Tournament limited to 40 teams. Registration closes April 19.
-$130.00 per team/$65.00 per player.
