It was beautiful. It was fun. It was magical. Two people so incredibly happy together on their wedding day on May 15, 2021. It was 3 months and 4 days, and then God took you home. We were blessed to know you, your children and your friends. We will never, ever forget you. Your charisma, passion, enthusiasm and laughter were absolutely enchanting. You were a force. Lightning in a bottle. Powerful, positive and just what Ty needed. Our hearts are broken. We will never truly understand why you are not here with us now until it is our time to see you again. After the success of our first Arts & Crafts show this past November, we have decided to host another event this spring.
We are looking for Arts & Craft vendors for the Spring Fling Arts & Crafts event on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from noon - 4 pm at Whispering Pine Plantation Wedding & Event Venue in Amelia. We will also have our Photographer, Abi Marie Photography, taking photos on our new pavilion on the pond and in the pines. Bring your kids for great spring photos for a fee. Free admission to our customers, guests and visitors.

We are looking for artisans, crafters, food trucks, candy, ice cream, petting zoo, face painters, live music and more.
This is an outside event. There is an opportunity for some of you to be set up under our 40x80 event tent and the rest set up your own tables and pop-up tents. Set up will be from 10 am - noon.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating. The booth fee is $25, and I will be sending out an invitation/application via email if you would like to participate in this event. Please send me an email with your information and I will send you an application. We want to support local businesses. Payment will be made through Venmo.

The Plantation is a beautiful bed and breakfast style home where you can relax with your wedding party, family and friends for a memorable day wedding, weekend wedding or Sunday affair. Whispering Pine will provide memories you and your guests will cherish for years to come. We can also host your birthday anniversary or special celebration. Contact us directly for special pricing.

Facilities and Capacity: Whispering Pine offers several areas for a beautiful ceremony and reception space. The cocktail hour and dancing can be held around the swimming pool or underneath your wedding tent. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests with ample parking and a parking attendant.

Services Offered: Options include your choice of outside vendors with no restrictions. Choose your own photographer, florist, planner/coordinator, caterer, videographer, band or DJ. Stage your wedding during the week so that your wedding day is carefree. A pavilion with sink, refrigerator and tables for your caterer and bartender to use as a prep and serving station. An outdoor private bathroom is also available for your guests as well as two bathrooms on the main floor of the house. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner can be held at Whispering Pine at no additional cost. We offer several rental packages that include your rental items: tent, tables, chairs and linen with options of adding décor, dance floor, heaters, etc., we can also custom build your rental décor package.
